| OUR GOAL IS TO DONATE $50,000 TO HOUR CHILDREN IN 2008. HELP US MAKE OUR GOAL. Long Island Foreclosure Tours (LIFT) has a mission to help prospective homeonwers find affordable houses in New York. Bank owned houses can become a blight on any neighbrohood. Nobody looks back with fondness on the days when vacant, boarded houses littered our Long Island and New York City landscape. However, it takes more than foreclosed homes being purchased and maintained to keep our communities solid. One group in particular has worked for years to care for the most important members of all of our communities, Hour Children. Hour Children is a group dedicated to caring for the children of incarcerated parents. The group provides housing, care, private schooling and nurturing to children. All the while, Hour Children visits and helps the incarcerated mothers obtain GEDs while in prison. Upon the mother's release, Hour Children reunites the family in supervised group housing. Eventually, when parents are able to care for and support their children, the family moves out on their own. I know of no other charity providing a moe important service to our children, and thus, our communities. If you've never heard of our children, and would like to learn more, visit Hour Children on the Web. In support of Hour Children, $5 will be donated for every paid tour. In addition, each of our real estate professionals will be implored, but not required, to donate a mere five percent of of their fees derived by their association with LIFT Tours.
